should reach everyone and enhance their quality of life. Realising
its social responsibility, IIL has started a social welfare
programme “Agla Kadam” in Punjab and Rajasthan where it has
adopted Villages to offer people the basic needs of life healthcare,
education, women empowerment.
It is undertaking various activities for them such as providing
books and study material to children, giving scholarships and
aid for schools, providing vocational education like stitching,
embroidery etc.
To girls and ladies for self-employment, providing technical
education to farmers about new and latest technologies etc.
The company aims to adopt more villages in other parts of the
country as well. |
